Beautiful Weligama
Weligama is a town on the south coast of Sri Lanka, located in Matara District, Southern Province, Sri Lanka, governed by an Urban Council. The name Weligama literally means "sandy village" which refers to the area's sandy sweep bay. how do I reach Weligama? After you reach Colombo fort, go to the Colombo Fort train station. From Colombo Fort train station take a straight train to Weligama . Easy to navigate station with many signs in English. A few trains depart close together so travelers need to be careful to get on the right train.
